I think my favourite food would be

Pizza. So versatile in terms of what you can put on it, dough recipes, how you can cook and eat it and yes I have a wood fired pizza oven so I'm a little biased

My favourite movie or tv series is

Harry Potter. I think we all wanted to be a magical kid at one point or another and just I love the crazy concepts in it even following onto Mysterious beasts

Something people don't know about me is

I lived in Darwin for just over 4 years. When I applied for the role I actually thought Darwin was in Queensland where we were trying to move to, so I spent 4 years living in the wrong place. I loved my time there but geographically did not realise how vast Australia is!

My favourite ice-cream flavour is

Love anything from messina to be honest, different flavour every time. I like trying new things

My favourite drink

Beer, to be precise Sierra Nevada Torpedo American IPA when I can find it, that's probably my favourite style too.

Why did you become a broker

Working for a bank for so long I did not like having to cross sell additional products, and the targets. I always loved the lending side of things and finding solutions, Being a broker enables me to provide solution across the board and not have to add fries to that or worry about the bank we use its just about finding the best solution irrespective!

What do you like most about being a broker

The variety of people and places I get to go, no two applications are the same so there's always a new challenge, I'm not constrained by a single bank but have the ability to find solutions based on the right fit for my client.

Some of the things that make me happy are

  • Football (Soccer for the uneducated). I'm a big Burnley fan and play over 35's for Toowong
  • Seeing my kids grow
  • My wood fired pizza oven. I love getting it fired up and trying something new
  • Music. Love all sorts and my days growing up in London in the 90's had a big influence on that

I'm currently trying to improve upon

Not looking at my phone 24/7

I'm improving my health by

Trying to get back into going to the gym, Covid has not been kind to my waistline

Something I love about my family is

They are all so different and individual and each have their own quirks
